Full casting has been announced for Florian Zeller’s The Father which returns to the West End following successful runs at Theatre Royal Bath, the Tricycle Theatre and Wyndham’s Theatre last year.

Kenneth Cranham reprises his role as Andre alongside Amanda Drew (Three Days in the Country, Enron, Broadchurch) as Anne, Rebecca Charles (Les Liaisons Dangereuses), Brian Doherty (Call the Midwife), Daniel Flynn (Stephen Ward) and Jade Williams (Young Chekhov Trilogy).

Florian Zeller’s award-winning black comedy centres on an ageing man with an unreliable memory and his relationship with his daughter and son-in-law.

James Macdonald’s acclaimed production played a West End season at the Wyndham’s Theatre last year and will run from 24 February until 26 March 2016 at the Duke of York’s Theatre, prior to a national tour.
