James Bond: The Musical might be heading to the stage

According to reports in The Times, James Bond: The Musical may be heading to the stage. Apparently Merry Saltzman, the daughter of Bond producer Harry Saltzman, has secured the rights to a musical parody written by Dave Clarke with music and lyrics by Jay Henry Weisz. Initial reports failed to mention this production was a parody and so the owners of the super-franchise were up in arms, as were we when we heard John Barrowman was being fingered for the role of 007.  Now that its revealed to be a parody and not subject to copyright, we can’t think of anyone better than Barrowman to play a spoof James Bond.
