PETER LOCKYER as Jean Valjean

Peter trained at New York University.

His Theatre credits  include Cyrano the Musical on Broadway, Jean Valjean in the USA 25th Anniversary tour of Les Misérables, Chris in Miss Saigon (Broadway & USA 1st National Tour) and as Marius in the 10th Anniversary cast of Les Misérables. Also, Rodlfo in Baz Luhrmann’s Broadway Production of La Bohème, South Pacifc (Lincoln Center Theater and PBS), The Phantom of the Opera (Broadway & USA National Tour), Tom in The Glass Menagerie (Ivoryton Playhouse, Connecticut Critics Circle Award nomination).

Directing credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Best Director of a Play), Omaha Symphony Christmas Spectacular.

Concerts include alongside Barbra Streisand in her first European Concert Tour; World premiere of Do You Hear the People Sing the music of Claude-Michel Schönberg & Alain Boublil.

TV includes Yonkers in Gypsy starring Bette Midler (CBS telefilm).

DAVID THAXTON as Javert

David was born in Neath, South Wales and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

His Theatre credits include Giorgio in Passion (Donmar Warehouse – Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical), Maximilian in Candide (Menier Chocolate Factory), Enjolras in Les Misérables (Queen’s), Raoul in Love Never Dies (Adelphi), West End Men (Vaudeville), creating the role of the Wolf in the world premiere of John Doyle’s The Tailors Daughter (Welsh National Youth Opera), soloist at the opening gala for the Wales Millennium Centre, Foreman in Trial by Jury, and the subsequent Chandos recording (BBC National Orchestra of Wales, St David’s Hall), Nick Shadow in The Rake’s Progress (Wales Millennium Centre), Harasta in The Cunning Little Vixen (Cardiff Sherman), Sweeney Todd (Norwich Playhouse).

 

CELINDE SCHOENMAKER as Fantine

Born in the Netherlands, Celinde graduated from Fontys Conservatoire in Music Theatre in Tilburg.

Theatre credits include Lily in The Secret Garden and The Grand Hotel, Night, Mother, Les Misérables in London, Love Story on tour in Holland.

 

CARRIE HOPE FLETCHER as Eponine

Carrie’s Theatre credits include Jane Banks in Mary Poppins (original cast, Prince Edward), Jemima Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (original cast, London Palladium) and Weasel/Duck in The Wind in the Willows (Open Air, Regent’s Park).

TV work includes Tanya in In Two Minds, Rocky in Break Kids and Jenny in Dog and Duck.

Concert work includes as a singer/songwriter Carrie most recently supported Sheytoons in concert (St James Theatre) and Ramin Karimloo’s 2012 Road to Find Out tour.

 

EMILIE FLEMING as Cosette

Emillie trained at The Guildford School of Acting.

Theatre credits include Oliver! (The Sheffield Crucible), Berlin – The Musical (The Bloomsbury Theatre London), Jesus Christ Superstar (Ivy Arts Theatre), Jerry Springer The Opera (Electric Theatre), Fings Aint Wot They Used T’Be (Ivy Arts Theatre), Carousel (GSA), Les Misérables 20th Anniversary (Queens Theatre) and Voices For A Better World (O2 Arena).

TV credits include Over The Rainbow – Finalist (BBC One/ Fountain Studios).

 

MICHAEL COLBOURNE as Enjolras

Michael trained at Guildford School of Acting. Credits whilst training include Warner in Legally Blonde, Company in Songs For A New World, Mr March in Steven Luke Walker’s Little Women and Cop/Ensemble in Footloose.

Theatre credits  include Young Buddy in Follies (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre), Axel in The Other School (National Youth Music Theatre), Cinders: Boom or Bust (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), supporting singer in Tell Me On A Sunday (St James Theatre), Featured Ensemble in Jule, Jerry & Steve (Alex Parker Productions) and workshops of Waterbabies and The Devil’s Advocate.

TV credits include Dancer in Pride and Prejudice – Having A Ball (BBC2)

 

ROB HOUCHEN as Marius

Rob trained  in musical theatre at Guildford School of Acting. Credits whilst training included Hanschen Rilow in Spring Awakening, Candide in Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, Abel in Children of Eden and Leo Bloom in The Producers.
