Part of Jamie Lloyd’s second Trafalgar Transformed season at the Trafalgar Studios, East is East is a modern comedy classic about growing up in multiracial England in the 1970’s.

A hugely successful British movie starring Om Puri and Linda Bassett, East is East is written by Ayub Khan-Din, who stars as George alongside multi award-winning stage and screen star Jane Horrocks (Annie Get Your Gun, Sunshine on Leith, Absolutely Fabulous) as Ella – a mixed race married couple bringing up their kids in 70’s Salford.

East is East is directed by Sam Yates and runs until 3 January 2015 at the Trafalgar Studios.
