Opening in May 2014 at the Shaftesbury Theatre, Richard Eyre directs a revival of his acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre production of The Pajama Game.

The show still star double Olivier Award winning actress Joanna Riding, who reprises her role as Babe Williams, and joined by Michael Xavier as Superintendent Sid Sorokin.

The Richard Adler and Jerry Ross musical is set within the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory, as handsome new Superintendent Sid Sorokin falls head-over-heels for firebrand Union rep Babe Williams.

Richard Eyre is currently directing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical Stephen Ward at the Aldwych Theatre, with a cast that includes Joanna Riding as Valerie Hobson in the show. Eyre’s Almeida production of Ghosts is also transferring into the West End starring Lesley Manville.

Currently playing at the Shaftesbury Theatre is Tim Rice’s new musical From Here to Eternity, which closes at the Shaftesbury Theatre in April 2014.
